If Given An Option, Will Cofounder Of Instagram, Kevin Systrom, Support Acquisition Of Its App By Facebook?

Kevin Systrom, the cofounder and former CEO of Instagram, was recently asked whether he would again allow the Facebook-Instagram acquisition, if given a chance. Systrom’s answer to it was little twisted but yet very easy to guess what he meant.

The former CEO of Instagram attended the DealBook conference of The New York Times, where he was questioned by Dylan Byers, the NBC New reporter.

In response to this, Systrom said if a billion dollars are offered for only 11 people, then what could be the decision anyway?

In 2012, Facebook acquired Instagram for $1 billion and 6 years after Systrom parted away from it in 2018. According to reports, Systrom and Mike Krieger, another cofounder of Instagram, left their product over certain clashes with Mark Zuckerberg.

Systrom stopped posting on Instagram a while before he actually left the company in September, 2018. His last post on the platform was on 20th May, 2018.
