TikTok Is Now Allowing Users To Select Which Video Quality They Want For Live Streams

TikTok is allowing its users to select the video quality of their choice for various live streams.

This news comes as the firm gears up for a tough year ahead with plenty of changes. As it is, we’ve been seeing TikTok introduce a bucketload of options for video creators.

Livestreams are a great way for people to reach out to their fans and followers and it’s about time the app did something to enhance the quality of the live streams at hand.

This report was first made public by Ahmed Ghanem on Twitter. He put up a screenshot to announce the development.

And that’s where users can select from three great options that determine the final outlook of the video. The highest quality is 720p which is designed for those having a great connection. Next up, it’s 540p which has high quality and uses high data. But if you’re just in search of decent quality then 480p is the way to go!

Before this, we heard about TikTok increasing the video description limit to 2,200 characters, so this just seems to go in line with just that.
