Google’s Update Facet Translated Results Now Supports Five Indian Languages

The latest edition of Indian Google is live now! Yesterday, on the 18th of November, mentioning it in the Google India event, the giant company introduced the new Indian-specific updates. These are now available on all the platforms of Google including Google search, Google Assistant, and Google Play. Not only the new feature that translates the search results in various Indian languages but the technology giant is also keen to enable learning, job, and health safety all over the country.

Google now enables online booking in India, with the help of Google assistance. Coming out in early 2022, through this feature the users will request Google Assistant to book a place for them. This feature will work in the following eight languages: Gujrati, Kannada, Malayalam, Bengali, Hindi, Marathi, Tamil, and Telugu.

The updated search of Google will promote the Indian language specialized search engine. According to this, the webpage Indian users will open will automatically be translated into Hindi. Additionally, they can also revert to the original language. This feature will be available in many more languages in the future, but for now, it supports Malayalam, Hindi, Kannada, Tamil, and Telugu.


That’s jaw-dropping! Whatever you would search on Google, can also be spoken by the technology giant in the five Hindi languages and Hinglish. After this feature being the initial one to be introduced by Google, worldwide, it is also planning to soon allow the users to carry transactions on Google play through speech. Moreover, the Technology firm has also added an option of Hinglish to Google Pay. Google by adding this feature aims to make the interactions on Google Pay more genuine and instinctual.

After partnering with the Indian Metrological Department (IMD), Google will be providing Weather alerts for unfavorable weather conditions. This will appear at the ‘At-a-Glance’ portion of your Google home screen; either on Android or the Google search. By choosing for simple queries like ‘weather near me,’ you can always keep yourself updated through the notifications sent by Google under the following alarming weather conditions: heavy rainfall, heatwaves, cold waves, thunderstorms, and floods.

Google noted in its blog that it has upgraded its predicting tools that make the process efficient as twice as before. The giant also claimed that these notifications help it cover 17% of the residents of areas over-blown. Google said that since the monsoon season has begun, the company was successful in issuing a huge number of 110 million notifications to at least 20 million people who were affected by the unfavorable weather conditions.
