Snapchat Introduces New Lens for Charity

In the times that we are currently living in it has become more important than ever for big companies to at least try their best to make it so that they would be able to end up helping people out in some way, shape or form. There are a lot of things that big companies can do, but companies like Snapchat are clearly trying their best to get creative with their charitable efforts, and Snapchat in particular has done something particularly unique in this regard by creating a lens that would facilitate quite a few charitable contributions all in all.

The new lens is basically another AR filter and while it is a pretty nice filter that you can use the true beauty of this filter comes from the fact that you can use it to donate to the World Health Organization and at the same time you are going to be allowed to see what your donations would be used for which is quite important because of the fact that it would enable you to truly see what it is that you are going to be helping people accomplish at the end of the day.

This lens is the first attempt by Snapchat in the direction of taking a proactive role to help people during these trying times. The previous instance was a mental health tool that is quite important when you take into account the immense stress that people would undoubtedly be under. Stress is inevitable during such situations but that doesn’t mean that you can’t use tools like this one to make the most of things. The lockdowns worldwide are also probably having a huge mental impact on people which is why the mental health tool that Snapchat released is so incredibly important and is proving that Snapchat is taking the current global situation very seriously indeed.
