Google Play Facilitates Communal Gaming During Lockdown

Spending time with people has now become more difficult than ever and a big part of the reason why that is the case has to do with the fact that we are going through a pandemic that has made it so that you pretty much can’t go out. Playing games with people can be a lot of fun but not every game is going to facilitate you playing with your friends who are not physically right next to you at the end of the day.

Google is trying to remedy this through an update that has made it so that a new social tab on Google Play Games has changed somewhat. Now you can use it to play a variety of games with your friends. You will have a list that you can add friends to, and you can play with these friends one-on-one or in a group. The profile tab is what is being changed here, so while the update is currently only server side with very few public rollouts, the fact of the matter is that if your profile tab turns into a social tab you might just need have the update at last and you can start playing with your friends.

You can add friends from your contacts or you can simply send someone a link and this will make it so that they can add you and you can start playing games with them. Updates like this are really important due to the reason that they can make it easier for people to stay at home, something that is pivotal to stopping the spread of this virus which is becoming quite a strain on the global economy and is making it quite difficult to people to get anything significant done at any given point in time all in all.
