Mark Zuckerberg Talks About Not Spoiling His Kids

As one of the richest men on the planet, Mark Zuckerberg could probably make sure that his daughters ended up getting everything they could ever want. After all, there is probably nothing in the world that he couldn’t buy, and yet Zuckerberg and his wife Priscilla Chan apparently work quite hard to make sure that they don’t spoil their kids, and in a recent interview they gave they talked about the various things that they are doing in order to ensure that their children grow up to be more or less normal in every single way.

For starters, the couple talked about how they make their children perform simple tasks around the house. Their daughters are 2 and 4 years old so they can’t really do anything major, but they apparently do help with small tasks like loading dishes into the dishwasher and the like. These are the kinds of things that can help children learn how to be responsible for certain things, something that could lead to them becoming much more successful adults than they could have ever been otherwise.

The parents also take their children to work so that they can see what their parents do. This is done so that the children can get an idea of what a work day tends to be like, and what’s more is that neither Zuckerberg nor Chan are shy about working at home. According to both of them, they are highly passionate about their jobs which means that they intend to get work done no matter what happens.

This tends to be a trend among billionaires. All of them seem to be working hard on not raising their children in a way that would make them entitled or spoiled, and the same can be seen from the likes of Bill Gates and Warren Buffett.
