Facebook published a dedicated page to help users understand Messenger's privacy, safety and security features

We all are aware of Facebook is working hard to improve the privacy and security on Messenger. Facebook is trying to bring in end-to-end encryption in Facebook Messenger so that people feel more secure and safe. However, this secret conversation feature was not set by default but people can do some conversations under secret conversation for privacy.

Recently, Facebook launched a new privacy and security page for Messenger that will act as a safety hub. The users will gain more knowledge about their privacy settings, along with the information related to their Secret Conversations.

This new page will provide users some basic knowledge of reporting and restricting unwanted interactions on Facebook. You can also report people that impersonate others to contact you or try to cause you any harm. The Facebook security and privacy system are much improved since the beginning, which is why you might get the kind of help you are seeking from Facebook.

You will also find tips to secure your account from hacking along with taking measures to improve the privacy and security of your Messenger account. If you are someone with a technical background then you can read more about this update in the white-paper that is released by Facebook for greater insights.
