WhatsApp introduces a new feature to minimize recipients error when sending out images

Have you ever sent out an image to the wrong contact in your list and realized your mistake when it was too late? Fortunately, the Facebook-owned company is bringing out an update that would allow users to double check the receivers of their media files.

According to MSPowerUser, WhatsApp is rolling out a new update for Android beta users that will bring out an important and useful feature.

In the new version v2.19.173, the users will see a list of their contacts before sending any type of media to an individual recipient or group. This would allow users to ensure that their photos and videos are sent to the right person – minimizing the chances of error.

Currently, the updated version will be rolled out for beta users on Android only. And although the messaging platform has not yet confirmed any news, we can expect the same updates to be rolling out soon for the iOS users as well.
