WhatsApp Rolls Out Fun And Exciting Features Worth A Glance And Here’s What Users Can Expect

WhatsApp is on a roll as the company has launched an array of exciting features that are coming soon for the platform’s users.

The app’s latest update had plenty of excitement attached because there are a lot of things going on here that many people can’t wait for. So brace yourselves as the global launch is set to arise starting today and will continue over the next few weeks.

For starters, the company has announced a new poll feature. While the current one was just multiple choice, you can even include an option for all answers to make things a little more interesting and fun.

Other new additions to the Polls include a new and improved search option and the chance to get notifications when you send out a response to polls.

In other news, the app is giving users the chance to forward captions with images in a much simpler manner. It was very annoying for app users to put captions of other messages but now, that won’t be the case.

The platform is giving users the chance to keep, rewrite, or delete a caption with the image or video being forwarded and it’s definitely going to remove any tricky element attached as we saw in the past. Similarly, you’re also going to be able to forward a document with the addition of a caption that was not seen in the past.

But that’s not all. The app is now rolling out a new feature called the bottom navigation bar to its users. It’s a tweaked addition to its interface on the platform that arises with the help of a navigation bar seen across the bottom. Moreover, it just makes it so much easier for the app’s users to go from one tab to the next by clicking on the screen’s bottom.

The company says that it was much requested by users who claimed they needed something more when navigating through the app and this might be the answer to just that. Clearly, the platform gives great value to what its users have to say and this happens to be proof of just that and more.

For now, it’s out for beta testers but in a few week's time, it’s getting launched to the masses so stay tuned for that.

Last but not least, the app is rolling out another feature called the Group Mentions endeavor.

In a recent screenshot that was provided thanks to Wabetainfo, we can see how members of the community administration would be given the chance to mention groups in a particular community that happens to be a part of the community announcements.

In this manner, people are bound to get notified about a particular group that might spark their interest and it would make it so much easier for them to join something that they can best relate to.

It’s helpful for both community admins and other users. The former can now avail a feature that highlights groups while the latter can be more aware.

The news comes as the company had only recently launched a new option that allows users to navigate better through communities via a list of their groups with the help of a button located in the header of the conversation.

For now, this particular rollout is up for grabs to only a few lucky people in beta testing but we should see it arrive soon for all. Until then, we’ll keep you updated on this front.
