Instagram Rolls Out a New Feature Which Lets Users Choose Their Pronouns in the Language They Want

Meta is working hard to introduce new features beneficial to users and that's why it has come up with a new update to the pronouns feature on Instagram. As we know, Instagram has a feature that lets users write their pronouns in the bio section like he/him, she/her, they/them, etc. Now the users can choose their pronouns in any language they want. This means that the users won't have to write them only in English anymore.

To add pronouns to your bio, just open your Instagram app and go to your profile. Tap on the Edit Profile tab. There, you will find a Pronouns section. Click on it and type your pronouns by using the languages given right below it. Right now all of the languages aren't available. You can only choose between 14 languages which include English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Indonesian, Turkish, Arabic, Farsi, Norwegian, Finnish, Danish, Dutch and Swedish.
Users can add up to four pronouns on their bio to let people know that they are okay with them using those pronouns. In the pronouns section, there is also an option that lets the users show their pronouns only to their followers. If you want to keep your pronouns public, just turn off that option. After choosing the pronouns, click on the tick and they will be saved on your bio.

This feature is a good thing for people who are having a crisis with their identity and want their followers to know which pronouns they can refer to them as. That's why users trust Meta for always making the right decisions. Now we have to wait and see if Meta will add more languages to the pronouns feature on Instagram.
