Soon It Will Be Possible For You To Transfer WhatsApp Data From An iPhone To An Android Device

The technology has advanced so much in the last few years and honestly it is relatively easier to do the simplest task like uploading and transferring data now than it was ten years ago. However, one thing that has always lacked in advancement is the fact that we are still unable to transfer the WhatsApp data between two different operating systems.

While it is easier to transfer WhatsApp data between two Android or two iOS devices, transferring between iOS to Android is almost impossible.

This inability prevents a lot of users to switch from one operating system to another, and have you ever wondered how easy it would be if someone just launched a feature which gives users the ability to transfer WhatsApp data from an iOS to Android or vice versa.

Well, we have some good news for you then. Android has a built in device to device transfer system called Data Restore Tool which allows users to copy paste and transfer content between any device irrespective of its operating system and company.

Android has now made this feature available on the Play Store and has launched some updates on it as well. So as a part of the update 1.0.382048734, this feature will now let users transfer their WhatsApp data from an iOS to an Android phone, as reported by 9to5Google.

To transfer the chats, users will have to scan a QR code with their iPhones and the chats will automatically open up. All you will have to do is keep your iPhone open and WhatsApp connected for that time being.

After this the users on request will be shown a QR code scanning their iPhone on which will lead to the upgraded migration settings which will help in transferring the data to Android.

However, if you think the feature is great but, you'll have to wait for it a bit because it is still not available to the general public and is still in process of development by the company. Though considering it is definitely going to be a popular feature, we don't think that it will take a long time before it finally comes out.

It is great to see companies taking user requests under consideration and coming up with features that are will help technology make our lives easier. The future of technology is great and we cannot wait to see all that is in store for us.
