Google shares interesting insights on how to optimize video content for search results when they are posted on the website of content creator instead of YouTube

Video is a rising format for content creation and utilization on web pages, and there are millions of websites from which Google indexes video content to assist users. There is no doubt that every owner of the websites wants their content to rank at the top in the Google search results so that they can get more traffic. As a result, they use different techniques, keywords to bring their video content to the first page. Recently, the search giant revealed the latest method to optimize video content for the owner of the website that is posted on their personal sites.

Now it has become convenient for originators to mark their video content for “key moments” affluent clips that will enable the explorer to steer quickly to particular sections of videos. It is expediently achieved with video content of YouTube as it merely needs to attach timeframes to the details of the video. Before the launch of this latest method, it was very hard for webmasters to separately categorize every section of the video manually on their personal sites because it requires a lot of effort and time. Now website owners need to give the Uniform Resource Locator configuration to Google for cutting to a particular timeframe in a video.

Now the website of Google will first find out the crucial moments with the help of its artificial intelligence in creators’ video and then it will show the links precisely to those moments which the users are looking for in the search bar. The company announced this potential about a year ago at the annual developer conference but that was in the beta format for some time. Now the company has decided to bring it to official form from the beta version so that it can help the holders of personal sites publishing video content.

The holder of personal sites must be careful while applying the Seek-to-Action markup. The URLs of the video that the holder is providing to Google should include a root link into a few spots other than the initial points. Video object-designed data should be put into a web page so that searchers can view such content. If the holder of the video uses the ability of Seek-to-Action in the important parts of the content where the holder wants the company to find out such parts and the length of the video content should be 30sec. The site owner should also understand that Google applies this ability to video content inserted on one’s personal sites, not the third-part sites.
