Apple increases the maximum amount for 'trading in' your old iPhone

Apple has been the worlds largest technology company that manufactures phones, laptops, computers, and many other electronic devices. Apple has a policy of trading your old iPhones with the new ones that are newly launched in the market. The company gives you some credit towards the next purchase when you are upgrading your device from the older model to a new one from the company. The company also promises if the phone cannot be upgraded or is not eligible for the credit, they can recycle the phone for free. According to the new reports, Apple is increasing the maximum amount for trading in your old iPhone.

Apple has increased the amount of credit or money for the customers who are trading their old iPhones for a new one. According to the model of the iPhone, all of the models have an increase in the trading value. For E.g., the maximum trade-in value for a used iPhone 11 Pro Max has increased by $15 to $515. Similarly, for the iPhone 11 Pro, the value has increased by $5 to $465. The rise in the value of the device increases based on their model and their condition.

Before the trading of the phones, the customers are asked some basic questions regarding the model of the phone, condition of the phone as well as storage of the iPhone. Through all the information the trade-in value is calculated before receiving an Apple gift card or cash.

Apple has launched new models of the iPhone in October called the iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro, iPhone 12 Pro Max, and iPhone 12 Mini. All of these models range from $69 to $1099. These have an advanced system that supports 5G. According to some reports, iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro are a step up from their predecessors as this iPhone model has refreshed designs and upgraded software of the camera that can see in the dark and can shoot RAW images.

As Apple introduced new models in the market it has discontinued the assembling of fur older models that includes the iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Pro. With the models of the iPhone 11, Apple stopped the manufacturing of the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus which were released in 2017.

This increase in the trade-in value from the Apple company is beneficial for the people to get some amount off from the original price of the device.
