Data Shows Apple’s Newly Launched iPhones Are the Best Selling 5G Mobiles

Apple introduced four of its products this year among which are iPhone 12 Pro, iPhone 12 Mini and iPhone 12 Pro Max, and iPhone 12 that is suspected to have become the world’s bestselling 5G phone this year but since Apple has stopped sharing any data details about the sale of its mobile phone devices, the data from Counterpoint claims it the bestselling 5G phone of 2020.

Apple is known to have launched new products and mobile devices year after year with some innovations in every new device it offers, making people drawn to it quite easily. Hence listing itself among one of the world’s highest sales of mobile phone devices. iPhone 12 was launched this year on October 23rd, 2020 and was only available for two weeks during that month. According to Counterpoint, iPhone 12 has managed to reach 16% of the sale rate while iPhone 12 Pro has managed to reach the sale rate of 8% just within the span of two weeks of their launch and even though iPhone was relatively late to hop on the bandwagon for the introduction of its 5G devices this year it has managed to take its top position by quite a vast margin. While iPhone 12 and 12 Pro have managed to achieve the top two positions, the third in line is Samsung’s Galaxy Note 20 Ultra 5G with a sale of 4 percent, closely followed by two sets of Huawei Mobile phone devices namely Note 7 5G and P40 5G each with a sale rate of 3 percent. iPhone 12 not only secures its top place in the highest sale rate but also has managed to enter the list of top 10 bestselling 5G devices from January to October 2020 which is quite impressive for something that was introduced so late.

But the question arises, that even after such a delay in the introduction of its 5G products, how did Apple manage to reach the top of the charts for both the bestselling list and highest sale rates?

Even though there was a huge demand for 5G upgrades with an iOS base which by the introduction of iPhone 12 and 12Pro has been fulfilled, is not only the reason for the great sale percentage Apple showed this year. The reason which resulted in at least one-third of the iPhone 12 and 12 Pro was that almost all cell phone carriers offered promotions which pushed down the prices from the original price of 799 dollars to 0 dollars in some cases.

Apple is expected to share its holiday revenue data and other details about how iPhone has performed so far in January till then stay tuned.
