Instagram Offers New FAQ Feature for Businesses

In order for any kind of business to remain viable in the long term, it needs to make sure that it offers its users enough platforms on which they can get in touch. Social media is an especially crucial aspect of communication, with various platforms turning into hubs that a number of businesses uses in order to make it so that their customers can always inquire about whatever they might have on their mind, but with all of that having been said and now out of the way it is important to note that sometimes forcing a customer to have to contact someone to get a question answered is not the right way to go about things.

Customers want to be able to rest assured that no matter what happens they would end up getting their answers, even if you don’t have someone available for this, at this current point in time. As a result of the fact that this is the case, Instagram is rolling out a feature that is quite similar to something that Messenger has been offering for quite some time now. As spotted by Matt Navarra, this feature would allow you to set up an FAQ section on your business profile.

The great thing about this new feature is that you can customize the questions based on your needs. There would be some useful templates that you can use as well as a number of other options that would allow you to offer answers to questions that pertain to your specific business or brand. This way, users would be able to just check out the FAQs and get the answers that they need. If they have a question on their mind that isn’t in the FAQ, this probably means that their question is somewhat out of the ordinary and they would need to contact a professional in order to have their query resolved.

This feature is important in terms of how businesses can streamline their operations. It can be exhausting to answer the same question over and over again. You would have to keep someone available at all times so that speedy responses can be given at a moment’s notice. With an FAQ section, most of the work that people that manage your social media accounts would have to do would now no longer be necessary.

Hence, you can reduce the number of people that you will have on staff to handle social media, thereby saving yourself and your business quite a bit of money. A lot of brands and commercial entities would be quite happy to see such a feature, one that they have been wanting for quite some time now.
