Google Adds Install Hints to Speed Up App Download Process

If you have ever switched from one Android phone for another, you would know that it is a very frustrating and time consuming process that would make it very difficult for you to get the kind of benefits you might be looking for. A big part of the reason what that is the case has to do with the fact that the apps that you need are not going to be on the new device, which means that you would need to download them one by one in order to be able to use them and get your phone to a point where it truly represents the kind of usage you are attempting to derive from it.

Because of the fact that this is the sort of thing that could potentially end up preventing people from buying new Android phones and thereby put the very existence of this operating system at risk, Google has been trying to figure out ways in which the app download process can be sped up at least to a certain extent. Google has been mostly successful in its attempts to streamline the process and make it easier for various users to make the most of the kind of phones they might want to buy in the future. These updates and modifications have been going around for a while, but recently Google rolled out a different feature that indicates a slightly different approach for the tech company, one that might change the way people look at how app downloads work in the first place.

This new feature is that you are going to start getting “installation tips” which would tell you the fastest way in which you can end up regaining all of the apps that you might have lost. This is a common occurrence especially if you are trying to look into buying a phone from a different manufacturer. This new feature is going to help users be more willing to switch to a different brand, something that can help increase competition in the industry and give more people a chance to experiment with new phones.
