Facebook’s New Tools Will Help Businesses Struggling With Coronavirus Impacts

While the coronavirus has definitely put people’s lives at risk, one thing that you might not realize is that there are a lot of other ways in which this virus might just end up harming the future as well and a big part of the reason why that is the case has to do with the fact that the virus is causing lockdowns all over the world in order to prevent it from spreading any more than it already has and this means that a lot of business are suffering due to the reason that their cash flow has been completely destabilized to the point where they are no longer going to be able to sustain themselves.

It is important for the business community to band together and this is basically why Facebook has released a whole slew of new tools all of which are designed to help businesses on the platform get to customers and keep themselves afloat. These new tools are going to allow small businesses to offer gift cards to their customers which can be availed at any time and the best thing about these is that they can allow businesses to keep their cash flow going which enable them to weather this bad time until eventually they get a chance to make the most of things all in all.

However, this is not going to be enough to keep these businesses afloat which is why Facebook has created a 100 million dollar grant for various small businesses as well, all of which are going to benefit greatly from this grant. All a business has to do is go to facebook.com/grantsforbusiness and they will be able to apply. According to Facebook's COO Sheryl Sandberg 40 million will be distributed immediately and 60 million will be allocated in the next phase of the program.
