New Study Reveals How Long Coronavirus Can Survive on Cardboard, Plastic and Steel

Coronavirus is one of the biggest health crisis that humanity has faced in about a century since the last pandemic was going around. This information has to do with how long the virus can survive on various surfaces. It turns out that the virus can survive quite a long time if it is on cardboard especially. The virus can remain on the material for twenty four hours which is very important consider because of the fact that it means that if you get a package from outside and it is packaged in cardboard that means that it might have coronavirus and as a result of this fact you should wash your hands after you have touched it.

Plastic is an even more serious thing to be thinking about. The Coronavirus can last for up to three days on plastic, so you should try to disinfect every single piece of plastic that is currently in your home. The fact of the matter is that we touch a lot of items in our home on a regular basis so trying to make plastic less dangerous might just lead to the virus no longer being as threatening to us.

Steel is also quite risky because of the fact that the virus can last on it for about forty eight hours, so you shouldn’t touch steel that has not been disinfected if you can help it. Taking these precautions can really help you out quite a bit all in all. If you take sensible precautions then we will all be able to get through this easily in a way that won’t be too difficult.
