Facebook launches a Messenger Beta app – available on Microsoft Store

After hearing scattered rumors, the news is now confirmed!

Facebook was indeed working on several new features for its Messenger Beta app, which is now available on Microsoft Store for Windows 10 users.

The new features are rolling out for all the users who are using the Messenger Beta app on their PCs. However, the update currently in ‘launch mode’ and will be available to all users in phases within a few days.

The new update will include the following new features:

· New themes including the dark mode and grey hue

· Permanently delete messages

· Ability to send files

· A full-screen layout


· Capability to hide chats

· A new updated icon

· An updated database of emoticons
