These are the top 25 people with the most influence on the ‘tech industry’

Stack Overflow released their annual ‘developer survey’ where the participants contributed their opinions about tech industry, the successful programs, etc. This year, Stack Overflow also asked the participant regarding who they think would be the most influential personality in the technology industry in the year 2019.

The top 25 results are based on the answers of over 30,398 participants and include CEOs, developers, and even politicians. Let’s take a look!

25. Werner Vogels, Amazon Chief Technology Officer

The vice president and CTO of Amazon formerly worked for Cornell where he was responsible for research on scaling enterprise-computing systems.

24. Jack Ma, Ali Baba cofounder and chairman

The Chinese e-commerce giant Ali Baba has the world’s largest public stock offering. However, Jack Ma, the co-founder of the entity plans to step down from his position as chairman in September.

23. Demis Hassabis, Google DeepMind CEO and founder

Amazon, the e-commerce and cloud company is currently worth a whopping $916 billion.

1. Elon Musk, co-founder and CEO of Tesla and SpaceX

On the number one position is Elon Musk who is now the CEO of Tesla. Previously, he also co-founded SpaceX, the Boring Company, Neuralink, OpenAI, and PayPal. He managed to garner over 30% of the votes in the survey.
