Facebook’s New Updates Give Page Owners More Outreach Tools

These days, if you have a brand or an organization that you want to promote, making a Facebook page is one of the most important things for you to do. This is because of the fact that with a Facebook page, you will be able to spread awareness for your business. Facebook is constantly trying to help its page owners get a wider outreach, and two recent updates have allowed them to gain access to more people than they had before.

The first of these two updates involves pages now getting unique QR codes. You can download these QR codes in a PDF file and send them to people that you would want following you. If these people decide that they would like to follow you, their next step will be to scan the QR code after which connecting with you is going to become very simple indeed.

Back in April 2018, Jane Manchun Wong first spotted this feature. And a new tweet by Matt Navarra points out that Facebook is gradually introducing its QR codes option to more business pages.

The next update that is going to have a lot of page owners very excited about the direction in which they would be able to take their page is that the “Top Fans” feature, one that allows you to have certain users dubbed top fans based on how much they interact with your page, is rolling out to a lot more page owners.

This feature was previously restricted to a bare minimum of beta testers, but the wider roll out is going to make it so that you would be able to create content and posts specifically for your top fans and create a bit of exclusivity within the general way you use this platform. Both of these updates are going to give page owners a lot more control over the kind of reach they get.
