Android users of WhatsApp, get ready for another update! The messaging service has started to roll out a new update that allows users to privately send replies to other participants in the group without letting others in the same group know. The updated feature is exclusively available for users with beta version 2.18.355.
Apparently, the same update was mistakenly rolled out in the beta update for Windows Phone. However, it was dropped from there soon and users along with experts speculated it arrival again soon. Well, the feature is here now and users can conveniently reply to a particular message in private without alerting the other users of the group.
To use the feature, simply hold the message you wish to reply to and tap on the three-dotted menu that appears on the top right corner of the screen. Here, you will find the Private Reply option that will take you to the exclusive chat window of the specific sender.
Apparently, reports also suggest that the updated beta version comes with a few glitches as well. According to sources, WhatsApp crashes whenever a user deletes a particular media message from the group. However, there has been no verification regarding the bugs.
