Even after countless efforts of the social media giants to combat fake news, users are still facing the bug of spams on their accounts, more often than not. A survey conducted by the efforts of Hubspot deduced that around 47% of the respondents claim to get more spam laden content in their news feed for the past month.

The new steps of instructions by the companies like Facebook and Twitter in order to make their users to keep the sites clean have been given; still, this problem is nowhere being controlled. Facebook seems to disregard the concept of fake news to be included as a spam, however, 79% of the internet users taking the poll seem to agree to it.
