These Are the Biggest Factors That Impact Content Marketing Success

If you want to get your voice out there in the world, you need to make sure that you are focusing on content marketing as much as humanly possible with all things having been considered and taken into account. In spite of the fact that this is the case, content marketing is not as straightforward as it might seem. There are a number of factors that can help make it far more successful than might have been the case otherwise.

With all of that having been said and now out of the way, it is important to note that researching your audience is likely going to be the most essential thing to focus on. 47% of content marketers said that audience research was key, and 46% said that search engine optimization was instrumental to the level of success they have experienced so far.

However, these aren’t the only things that content marketers like to focus on. 45% said that publishing content more frequently is a priority because of the fact that this is the sort of thing that could potentially end up keeping them in the mind’s eye of all of their targeted consumers who are out there.

44% also cited improving content quality as something that can prove to be a decisive factor in this regard. You don’t necessarily have to keep creating new content either, since 42% of marketers stated that reworking and repurposing older content can be a key aspect when it comes to attaining the success that they are looking for.

Another really important factor is researching the competition, which was cited by 41% of marketers who responded to a recent Semrush survey. There is also going to be an increase emphasis on video based content moving forward, with about 40% of marketers saying that they will be relying on it this year.

Finally, an oft forgotten aspect of content marketing is collaboration. 40% of the marketers who responded to this survey said that collaborating with others can help give their content a boost, since it will enable them to get more eyes on whatever they are posting.
