WhatsApp tests interesting features including, a MacOS desktop application and replying shortcut

Holding a major market share in the messaging industry WhatsApp surely has a great responsibility to consistently provide its users with the best experience and features, and well the industry giant never fails to do so, be it amazing message reactions or a welcoming interface, the application keeps on getting better.

The company is said to be working on some amazing updates which will further add to its utility. These updates, as per WBI, include a desktop application for the Macintosh operating system, which will be similar to its Windows counterpart released a few months ago, and some other shortcut for replying to messages.

The WhatsApp desktop application on the MacOS like the Windows version will allow users to link their WhatsApp to their Mac; therefore, letting them use the application both on their mobile phones and Macs.

Having pretty much the similar interface, the WhatsApp for MacOS, upon opening shows you a QR code which you can scan through your WhatsApp camera, the code once successfully scanned will bring your WhatsApp onto your Mac screens.

Apart from the MacOS version, users are also pretty excited about the message reply shortcut that is currently under development, reports indicate that the message reply shortcut will be placed right next to newly released message react button and will allow users to reply to any message just with one tap. This will surely be a great time saver since previously users had to double click or select reply on a message.

Already excited to use these new WhatsApp features and versions? Well you'll have to wait sometime since both of these projects are marked as underdevelopment and might take a good amount of time to come out.
