New Program Takes AI Generated Art to Another Level, Creates Highly Realistic Drawings from Text

The applications of artificial intelligence are widespread and well documented, and it has the potential to improve various aspects of the manner in which you have currently chosen to end up living your life. However, AI that can be used to create art is one of the biggest examples of this tech that’s getting quite a bit of coverage, and a recent program that was just released uses OpenAI to create truly amazing drawings based on simple lines of text.

This program is called DALL-E 2, and it is the second iteration of this program that was created by researchers at a lab in San Francisco that are experimenting with OpenAI. The truly amazing thing about this AI is that it can create images that have a strong level of artistic flourish in them, and they are also almost entirely photorealistic even when the text prompt that the image is based off of describes something surreal with all things having been considered and taken into account.

What’s more is that the AI has been using deep learning to analyze countless images and art forms, and it is advanced enough to replicate the art styles of famous painters as well. While it might seem that this AI program is purely for novelty value, that’s not the case because of the fact that this is the sort of thing that could potentially end up allowing picture editing to become simpler.

Editors can use this AI program to modify how an image looks by just typing out a descriptor that can be as short as a few words long. It will be truly exciting to see how the AI grows from here on out, because this is just one of the many examples of how researchers are using this tech to see the full extent of what it can manage to accomplish, and using these programs has also become easier than ever before although there is also a potential for misuse.
