Vast Majorities of Companies Lost at Least 6% of Revenue Due to Bot Attacks This Year

Bot attacks are a real menace for the companies that end up falling prey to them, and these attacks are becoming more and more sophisticated as time goes by. Companies are concerned because of the fact that this is the sort of thing that could potentially end up eating away at their revenue streams, and with all of that having been said and now out of the way it is important to note that Kasada has made a report that reveals the numbers behind these attacks.

It turns out that 77% of companies lost at least 6% of their annual revenue due to bot attacks, a number that is so high that it might result in these companies suffering a loss in the financial year. What’s more is that 39% of the companies surveyed said that they suffered an excess of 10% revenue loss which can be crippling all companies since they work with razor thin margins as it is.

8 out of every 10 organizations that participated in the survey said that they felt like the attacks were getting more complex and just over 31% said that the current solution that they have implemented to prevent bots from attacking them is not durable enough to keep them at bay.

About 25% of the companies involved in this survey said that a single bot attack could end up costing upwards of half a million dollars, and there is only so long that a company would be able to go before things start to get really difficult for them. This is a problem that needs to be solved quickly because it is creating a rather hostile environment for companies and it is making it really difficult for them to plan for the future of their enterprises.
