Two New Updates Coming to Twitter, Pinning the Latest tweets timeline and Searching user’s tweet button

There are a couple of cool new updates headed to Twitter that might change the way people use the platform in a few ways. While Twitter in general is going to keep things the way they are, one of the changes that are coming might make it a lot easier for people to search through someone or the others tweets in order to find something that might in some way, shape or form end up being relevant to them from a wide range of perspectives, this was first spotted by Jane Manchun Wong.

With all of that having been said and now out of the way, it is important to note that it has always been possible for you to search for someone’s tweets. You just needed to enter a rather lengthy and somewhat complicated search query, and this made it unnecessarily difficult to get the job done with all things having been considered and taken into account. Twitter is simplifying this so that when you visit someone’s profile you would see the option to search through their tweets in the search box because of the fact that this is the sort of thing that could potentially end up simplifying the process and making it a great deal accessible to a large number of people.

As per Alessandro Paluzzi, Twitter is also bringing some changes to the timeline in the sense that you will now be able to pin latest tweets onto your timeline in order to check in with them periodically. This is something that can give users greater control over the kinds of content that they end up seeing on their timelines, something that often ends up becoming a bit of a point of contention when you consider the fact that some people feel like their timeline can get cluttered.

This will also help users avoid the rather annoying situation wherein you might have been scrolling through something or the other and you accidentally pressed the home button which refreshed you timeline and you are no longer able to locate the content that you had been perusing previously. While this might not solve all of the issues that users currently have with Twitter, it will go a long way towards improving matters from a lot of different perspectives. These changes are most likely going to go over rather well with the average Twitter user which would be great at maintaining Twitter’s current success that is allowing it to surge back to previous levels of popularity.
