Twitter Makes Tweaks and Adjustments to Spaces in Preparation for Dedicated Tab

Twitter’s Spaces feature has been quite popular ever since it was released because of the fact that this is the sort of thing that could potentially end up allowing people on Twitter to engage with their followers in a very unique and effective way. On top of all of that, Spaces can help frame debates and allow people to obtain a lot more information about the things that truly matter to them more than anything else.

In lieu of this, Twitter has made plans to create a dedicated tab for Spaces. Before this dedicated tab is seen, Twitter is attempting to tweak Spaces wherever possible, and part of this has involved adding a new emoji of a raised hand that people can use for the purposes of attempting to ask some kind of a question that might be on their minds.

This emoji would only be available to the participants in the discussion. Hence, people that are simply observing would not be able to gain access to it which makes sense because it would reduce a lot of the noise that can be seen surrounding Spaces that are not being moderated in an adequate enough manner.

With all of that having been said and now out of the way, it is important to note that Twitter is expanding its voice changing feature as well. This is something that can help provide people with a fair bit of anonymity online which is useful with all things having been considered and taken into account due to the reason that there are many out there who would want to participate in these discussions but would obviously not want their anonymity compromised due to issues surrounding their personal safety and wellbeing.

Twitter is clearly going full throttle with the spaces feature and it will be interesting to see what happens when the dedicated tab is rolled out.
