WhatsApp New Update Hints At What It's Planning To Introduce On The App

WhatsApp had rolled out several new features in 2020 and it is all set to introduce some new really interesting features in 2021.Although the cards show several changes the most talked about is that WhatsApp is rolling out 2.21.1.1 update through the Google Play Beta Program.

The new WhatsApp update 2.21.1.1 is the first update of the year 2021 and though it still has not been launched, but WhatsApp is asking some of its users to accept the terms and policies related to the new update. Accepting these terms and conditions will not change the way the Facebook-owned app works, all your chats, messages and calls will still be end to end encrypted.

According to WABI WhatsApp will soon offer its users a Beta feature on WhatsApp Web just like its mobile counterpart. The new update hints that soon WhatsApp will offer a multi device feature on web through its Web beta program. This feature simply means that users can have their WhatsApp working on two or more devices together at the same time without having to worry about having Internet connection on the main device.

Apart from this the new update will also offer Video and Voice Calling through WhatsApp Desktop, which will put WhatsApp along the lines of Zoom and Google Meet in hosting meetings but will this feature be as great as the two in the corporate world is still unknown. WhatsApp is said to have given this feature for video calling through WhatsApp Desktop to some users during the holiday season for trial purposes to check how the public responds to it.

Let’s wait and see when will this new update be released and what cool features will it offer to make our everyday communications with friends and families easier.
