Data reveals the list of Instagram's most liked posts of the year 2020

Recently, Billboard shared the list of top liked Instagram posts of 2020. This year has been a rollercoaster ride for everyone. Most of us faced ups and downs in the Covid-19 times. Instagram's most liked posts of 2020 highlights the good times as well as the problematic period of this unpredictable year.

Talking about the ranking, on the top of the list is Cristiano Ronaldo. He shared a post in which he was grieving the loss of the famous soccer player Diego Maradona. In November he lost his life because of a heart attack. Cristiano Ronaldo’s post received 19.7 million likes. Lionel Messi also shared a similar photo that has 16.4 million likes and secures the third position on the list. He also shared his sentiments over the death of Diego Maradona.

Another most famous post of the year 2020 is by actor Chadwick Boseman. The post was shared from his official Instagram account revealing the news of his death from colon cancer. This post gets 19.1 million likes.

On number five of the list is Lebron James's post. He shared the tragic death incident of NBA star Kobe Bryant and give him a tribute. The famous star was killed in a helicopter accident back in January. He wrote an emotional statement on his post that he can’t process the news of Kobe Bryant’s death.

Kylie Jenner’s name comes four times on the list as 4 of her posts get the most likes. In April she posted about Travis Scott’s birthday which gets almost 16 million likes. Her post goes like “happy birthday to the dad of the year!”, she also shared a photo of her daughter in March that garnered nearly 15.3 million hearts, while her "don’t be afraid mommy" video gets 14.5 million likes.

Kylie Jenner’s other post received 14.2 million likes in which she posted a picture of her being dressed up with Travis Scott.

On number 6 is Ariana Grande’s post in which she revealed her engagement pictures with her fiancé Dalton Gomez.

Most of the top liked posts (in top 10) were shared by Kylie Jenner that collectively received 60 million likes, followed by Cristiano Ronaldo.
