'Call of Duty Mobile' & 'Among Us' Will Fight For The Title of Best Mobile Game 2020

The nominees for The Game Awards 2020 is out and not to one’s surprise, it is Activision's Call of Duty that has grabbed a spot in the ‘Best Mobile Game’ category. However, there is also tough competition coming in as Innersloth’s breakout title ‘Among Us’ is also nominated for the similar category.

There are also more popular titles like The Last of Us Part 2, Genshin Impact, and Raji: An Ancient Epic in their respective categories and it would be really interesting to see who wins!

For a brief history, Call of Duty Mobile has already won the title of ‘Best Mobile Game’ back in 2019. Hence, their inclusion in the nominees was pretty obvious but them winning might just become difficult this time as the indie title ‘Among Us‘ has grabbed great attention of mobile gamers in the past few months.

There are also Genshin Impact, Legends of Runeterra, and Pokemon Cafe Mix nominated to go head to head against COD Mobile and Among Us in the similar most popular category.

Genshin Impact is also another game that has enjoyed immense success in little time as the Chinese Video game developer, miHoYo, released it recently on September 28, 2020, with millions of players already hooked to the game. If you haven’t had the chance to try it then it’s an action role-playing game that you can play for free and it’s available on all popular platforms including PS4, Windows, Switch, Android, and iOS.

With that, Legends of Runeterra is another free-to-play digital collectible card game made by the minds behind Valorant and League of Legends - Riot Games and rolled it out on April 2019 for Windows, Android, and iOS.

The last on the list is Pokemon Cafe Mix (a free puzzle game) which is published by everyone’s favorite Nintendo and The Pokemon Company. It’s available for gamers on all platforms whether they have Nintendo Switch, an Android, or iOS device.

Apart from these all five ‘Best Mobile Game‘ nominees of The Game Awards 2020, there is The Last of Us Part II, Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Ghost Of Tsushima, Doom Eternal, Final Fantasy VII Remake, and Hades which would be battling out to win the title of ‘Game of The Year.’
