Apple Unveils 4 New iPhones, New Speaker at Annual Event

The annual Apple event in October is widely anticipated for a large variety of reasons. A big part of the reason why that is the case has to do with the fact that this is usually the event at which Apple unveils the latest model of the iPhone, and it usually leads to a rise in Apple stock prices along with widespread buying among consumers that prefer Apple products and are willing to fork over the cash for a new model that would most likely be extremely expensive.
The main attraction was, of course, the iPhone. Apple outdid itself this year by introducing four new models of the iPhone that people could potentially end up buying. These are the iPhone 12 Mini, the iPhone 12, the iPhone 12 Pro as well as the iPhone 12 Pro Max. The Mini in particular is a throwback to the days when Apple phones used to be far smaller than they are right now, coming in with a 5.4 inch display that is comparable to the iPhone 5 although it uses far more real estate for the end to end screen and therefore has a far more sophisticated and high end feel to it, something that makes the $700 asking price worth it for a lot of people.

The iPhone 12 reaffirmed Apple’s commitment to the flat edge design, doing away with the rounded edges that had gotten a mixed reception in the past. With the A14 processor chip, this could very well be the most powerful phone on the market and is certainly the most powerful iPhone that has ever been launched. This phone will also be available in a lot more colors with red, blue as well as green being offered with the usual black and white options, and the colors have a dark, sultry look to them that really suits the Apple brand to a certain extent. The 6.1 inch screen gives a lot of space for gaming as well as video streaming both of which are important factors.

The Pro and Pro Max are noteworthy because of the fact that they are the first iPhones that have 5G capability. Apple is fairly late to the market with Samsung and other major competitors having released 5G capable models a while ago, but with all of that having been said and out of the way it is important to note that Apple did not really miss out much due to the reason that 5G service has barely been rolled out yet and as a result of the fact that this is the case only about 6% of users have reported 5G capability as being a factor in their upcoming phone purchases.

The iPhones are not the only new products that Apple unveiled at its event. The tech giant also unveiled a new speaker called the HomePod Mini, and the company is also sending out new chargers that use magnets to attach themselves to the phones and offer wireless charging capabilities. These magnetic charging cases are being called MagSafe and they represent a new Apple accessories brand that many are going to be interested in. All in all Apple introduced a lot of new products that are sure to keep its audience captivated.
