Facebook CEO Discusses His and Wife’s Charity’s Plans to Help With Coronavirus

The new decade has only just begun and it seems like we have already gotten the news story of the decade, or at the very least the news story of the year. This news story has to do with the coronavirus and how quickly it is spreading, along with the fact that it may just end up killing people if steps aren’t taken in order to prevent it from doing so

Mark Zuckerberg is one of the richest people in the world, which makes it understandable that he would want to try and donate to charity as much as possible. However, he also aims to help in other ways, and many of these ways involves using Facebook to deal with the spread of misinformation, and in the case of the coronavirus there is actually a whole lot of misinformation that ends up being spread on a regular basis and a big part of this has to do with the fact that people don’t really know all that much about what is going on in these particular areas all in all.

Facebook as well as the charity that Zuckerberg has set up with his wife are going to help spread correct information about the virus, information that can be used to try and make it so that the virus does not end up having all that much of an impact on the world. People need to know about they can protect themselves from the virus otherwise they would be left defenseless, so it is a very effective step that Zuckerberg is being proactive about this. However, some are saying that he should take a larger role in financing relief efforts for coronavirus sufferers, and if the virus ends up getting out of hand then there is a good chance that these relief efforts would be necessary.
