The Tremendous Growth of Market Capitalization of Google, Apple, Facebook, Amazon and Microsoft

The last decade has been exceptionally beneficial for tech companies. During the past ten years, smartphones have continuously become popular and on whole, our lives were digitized which gave tech companies inclduing Google, Apple, Facebook, Amazon, and Microsoft (GAFAM) a chance to grow rapidly and become trillion-dollar giants.

Along with a few ups and downs, the past ten years have been years of the immense growth of the tech companies, especially for Amazon that has been leading in terms of growth in the last decade. Though there was a little downfall in the second half of 2019, but Amazon overall had more than 1,300 percent growth since the start of 2010.

Apple became the most valuable company in the world due to its more than 500 percent growth in the last 10 years. The current value of the Apple Company is $1.22 trillion, which was crossed this week by a Saudi State oil company, Aramco. The value of the oil company is now $ 2 trillion.

After Apple, the most growth was experienced by Facebook over the past decade, of over 450 percent, followed by Google, 373 percent and Microsoft, 331 percent.

The market capitalization of these tech companies has only boomed and is expected to keep growing and there is no turning back until anytime soon.
