AI-Powered Editor in Microsoft Word Online will Give You a Whole New Experience in Writing

Microsoft Word Online will shortly be having a machine-learning-based Editor, known as 'Ideas', announced the company. This feature will assist writers in every aspect while they are writing a document.

One of the most prominent features of Ideas is its ability to make writing concise and easy to read. Instead of only pointing out the common mistakes and correcting the grammatical errors, it will be working to make writing better overall.

Artificial intelligence will advise users to rewrite their text whenever a complex phrase will be written. Along with this, writing inclusive texts will also be possible with Ideas.
"The Ideas help users write polished prose, create more professional documents and efficiently navigate documents created by others.", explained John Roach in a blog post.
The cloud-based tool will tell the estimated reading time of the document written and provide acronyms to writers, using the data from a Microsoft Graph.

It will also be capable of taking out key points from the text, which will be more beneficial from a reader's point-of-view.

There will be another feature, “Word Designer” that will allow designing different parts of the document and adding style to it.

Office Insider will be having these features by June, whereas, it will be rolled out to all users by the end of this year.
