Instagram Direct app will be no more in June

In the upcoming month, Instagram will remove its Direct app, which acts as Messenger of Instagram, but making it sure that messages of the users will be transferred to Instagram account completely.

Therefore, the users and fans of Direct, as noted by Matt Navarra, will be greeted with the notification that their favorite messaging app “is going away”.

Direct was launched in 2017 on 7th of December. It had resemblance with Snapchat. Several countries had enjoyed its existence like Israel, Italy, Turkey, Portugal and Uruguay, but, the application was unable to stand on its own.

According to TechCrunch findings, Direct had seen a mere 1.3+ million global installs.

Bye bye Direct, most of us barely knew you existed.
