Working for an extended period of time in one place is the sort of thing that can really make it difficult for you to stay neat and clean. Your workspace is inevitably going to become cluttered and rather dirty to boot, but the problem with this is that it is going to seriously impact your productivity.

A messy workspace is going to be less organized so it will take you an unnecessarily long period of time to find the things you need in order to get your job done, not to mention the fact that coming to work and seeing a messy workstation is just going to put you off the tasks that you have to do today, a psychological impact that must be taken seriously.

There is also the fact that the messier your workspace gets, the more likely it will be that you will fall ill with increasing regularity. This is because of the fact that germs are going to breed quickly in spaces that aren’t seeing the light of day. Falling sick will definitely hurt your productivity!
