Identified YouTube Shooter Was Upset Over Filtering And Demonetization

An unfortunate incident took place yesterday when 39-year old woman Nasim Aghdam (identified shooter) from San Diego attacked YouTube’s HQ. According to the San Bruno police, the attacker did not attack anyone in particular and that the assault was in general.

Upon searching her on YouTube, Engadget found out that she had some serious reservations about YouTube’s monetization policies. It was also discovered how furiously she spoke about her videos which were filtered by YouTube. Moreover, she was highly distressed over demonetization.

YouTube has, apparently, removed her channel due to policy violations.

Nasim Aghdam wrote on her website:
“There is no equal growth opportunity on YOUTUBE or any other video sharing site, your channel will grow if they want to!!!!!”
When Aghdam’s dad was contacted, he asserted that he had let the police know already about her daughter’s anger with YouTube’s policies.
