Twitter To Bar Bots From Tweeting

Twitter has announced to make some changes to its API. The move will decline the impact of shared content across multiple accounts i.e. the software which powers multiple Twitter bots to tweet. The crackdown is for real and it is being implemented to avoid any malicious activity which can lead to crucial conversations on the platform.

So it means that those who are in prime control of multiple accounts for different work would be barred from tweeting. However, Twitter does allow to share content across multiple accounts if it is related to weather alerts, RSS feed updates, emergency announcements or any other public service message.

The social platform will eradicate these options from its own TweetDeck app as well. Third-party developers have a month i.e. 23rd March to be precise as the deadline.
