Cuban then went on to suggest how today’s business owners need to learn more about AI in-depth if they wish to benefit from it. That has a lot to do with its massive potential.
The landscape keeps evolving and today, established firms using AI are so much different than new startups using AI to lift up from the ground. While starting might seem tough to many, AI can make it all the more simpler.

All you need is a good internet connection, a laptop, and that’s it. Your mentor will be AI agents like Claude, ChatGPT, or Gemini. You choose your pick as they’re all experts in the field, he adds.
At the start, Cuban says AI also struggled big time. They made a lot of errors and the issue of hallucination was also not pleasant. But we must realize that human mentors also struggle when they’re too young and new in the market. So you need to give it time and space to grow and get better, he mentioned.
Despite all the problems, AI and automation experts can assist understanding what it is that people don’t know much about. It includes providing aid to other areas like sending emails, making sales calls, researching about trends, and running businesses.
Cuban then shared a caution alert to the crowd not to rely too heavily on AI as it’s never a reply to anything. It’s an aid and you should use your mind and skills with AI to make the best use of it.
This is very true, especially when you come to think of industries that AI is now venturing towards like creative writing and art.
Some fear that AI will take over their writing jobs by writing a great script. But that’s not true. These models don’t know the difference between a good script and a bad one. Users need to display creativity and enable AI to do the video part. Some AI videos are so bad, you can’t even imagine how they were released.
But when you use AI to produce plans, ideas, and outlines - the whole game gets so much more interesting. Cuban concluded by mentioning those not making the full use of AI’s potential are losing out because someone else smarter than them is.
This might be the small difference that separates their business from yours, Cuban concluded.
