Twitter Is Working On New ‘Vibe Check’ Feature That Enables Users To Update Their Status

Twitter is in the midst of creating an interesting ‘Vibe Check’ feature and that means it won’t be too long before we can see user statuses popping up on the platform.

News about the exciting update was first reported by a reverse engineer named Jane Manchun Wong who spotted the news and couldn’t wait to break it to audiences.

It is believed that the ‘Vibe Check’ would be allowed for display on both user profiles as well as their tweets.

To help create more excitement, Wong featured a series of screenshots for the upcoming feature that clearly showed the terms, “Set a Status” in the form of a box. This was reportedly present just above the area where users type in their text for a certain tweet.

Common first examples that were featured included the likes of ‘Eating delicious ramen’ and ‘Lurking on Twitter’.

At the moment, there is no definite news on whether or not Twitter users would be able to customize the status updates or resort to predesigned ones. But whatever the case may be, many people feel this was a long time coming for the app.

Wong says you can think of this as something that’s quite similar to the ‘Threads App Status’ seen on apps like Instagram.

We are yet to be certain about whether the feature actually comes into play or not, but it is certainly giving us plenty of vibes relating to the classic Facebook activities feature. Moreover, it wouldn’t be wrong to say that it adds an added dose of personality to a post.

Similarly, it’s not yet confirmed if the feature will be made available to all or only the exclusive blue subscribers. But with the exciting ‘Edit Button’ soon to be launched, users are loving the news.

For now, we’ll just need to wait and watch patiently for the company to announce the ‘Vibe Check’.
