Apple Becomes The Most Valuable Brand In The World Again After 5 Years

It doesn’t matter if it’s a pandemic or whatever, if there is one company that is here to dominate for as long as we are here then that has to be Apple as they have been crowned as the world’s most valuable brand again.

As per the research conducted by Brand Finance - the world's leading brand valuation consultancy, Apple now enjoys a brand value of $263.4 billion, beating Amazon, Google, and Microsoft that fall below. Not to one’s surprise, the tech world is constantly dominating the charts, but with that Coca-Cola is still going strong as a brand in the United States as it possesses a Brand Strength Index (BSI) score of 91.7 out of 100 along with AAA+ brand strength rating.

When it comes to the fastest-growing tech brand, AMD has grabbed that title in the similar report by Brand Finance, as it has seen a growth in its value up to 89 percent and more. This also made AMD go 186 spots up in the ranking to turn out as the 287th company in the world when it comes to brand value.

Apple reign over Amazon and Google to snatch the title of “the world's most valuable brand” has happened after almost half a decade since 2016 was the last year when Apple enjoyed such a status.

The credit for this immense success goes to the company’s diversification strategy which brought up an 87% increase in its brand value to make it go up to US$263.4 billion and also at the top of the Brand Finance US 500 2021 ranking and Brand Finance Global 500 2021 ranking.

“Steve Jobs’ legacy”

Besides that, the report also suggests that Apple’s impressive growth from time to time is also the result of the foundation laid by Steve Jobs which was all about being hungry for introducing new innovation with every product that the company to date launches.

Apple reclaimed its top spot from Amazon which dominated the charts for five years. According to Laurence Newell, Managing Director, Brand Finance Americas, this is another era that might well again make us witness Apple’s magic with “Think Different” ideologies. We are constantly seeing the company evolving from Mac to iPod, to iPhone, to iPad, to Apple Watch, to subscription services, and much more is just around the corner from time to time.

Tesla being the automotive brand also had the biggest jump in the chart, as for now, its brand value went up to 73 percent.
