Google Makes Phone Security Easy For Small Business Users

Google is launching a new version of its Enterprise security program for small businesses. Called the Enterprise Essentials, the new tool would include a handful of simple critical features such as lock screen, encryption, Play Protect malware protection, and remote wiping.

If you are not aware, the Enterprise program exists to help secure phones for business users. As we become more and more mobile, the program is critical to protect customer data and documents that is settled in our phones.

Although Google has not yet revealed the full list of features that will be made available in Enterprise Essentials, Google does imply that the new suite has many of the same basic features. They would simply be cut down to cater to those with budget and time restrictions.

The Android Enterprise program by Google doesn’t just impose security protocols but also pick out specific phones that meet the basic security standard.

The first set of tools will happen through Synnex in the US and Tech Data in the UK. Other resellers around the world can also pick it up early next year. Interested businesses can also register for a webinar on the topic or check out the new Essentials site for a detailed guide.
