Google has announced that the Google Play Store’s Best of 2020 awards are back, and users can vote for their favorite apps, games, books, and movies on its apps markeplace now. The last day of voting has been decided to be 23rd November 2020, and the results will be announced on 1st December 2020.

Now, this is interesting news. The year 2020 has proved to be a roller coaster ride for almost everyone in the world. It all began with a deadly pandemic, which is still there, but it halted our world for a good 3-4 months. During the period of global lockdowns, people were stuck in the sanctuary of their homes because everything else had been shut down to stop the spread of the COVID-19. During that time, people started relying more on the internet and mobile apps, and since going out to have fun was out of the question, many non-gamers converted into gamers and many people who were previously not interested in watching movies or reading books started doing exactly that to pass their time productively and entertainingly.

Now, it is the time to show your appreciation for all those apps, games, books, and movies that made your anxiety-filled and marred-with-uncertainty-days a lot better, and that helped you get through with your businesses, jobs, studies, and were a source of pure information and entertainment.
