Survey Indicates Many Startups Prefer Work From Home

While the current Covid-19 epidemic is affecting different parts of the world quite differently, the fact of the matter is that there is one thing that the whole world is experiencing in unison and that is a shift away from office culture towards a work from home dynamic. A big part of the reason why that is the case has to do with the fact that being in enclosed spaces with people really increases the risk of infection, but with all of that having been said and out of the way it is important to note that a lot of startups that recently responded to a survey seem to be inclined to continuing working from home due to the numerous benefits that it can provide.

About 80% of the people who responded to the survey were either Gen Z or Millennials so the data is skewed towards younger people, but the truth of the situation is that these are the people that are going to defining how things are done in the years to come and at the end of the day what they say matters. About 90% of the people who responded to the survey said that they were able to get all of their work done without any serious issues and this seems to show that there are a lot of benefits associated with working from home that might not have been apparent before.

It is crucial to see how things like this are going to impact the way we do things. Most of the respondents to the survey were either startup founders themselves or high level managers, which means that these are opinions of people in high positions. These people are the decision makers so if they like working from home and think that it is a good way to do things then this is something that could very likely become a reality.
