Photoshop CC is (finally) coming to iPad, says Adobe

So, here is the good news for the graphic designers as Adobe is going to announce today about the addition of Photoshop CC in iPad. Although it won't be available currently as it is going to be launched in 2019, still that is great news for the designers. The Photoshop CC iPad version will have limited features as compares to the desktop version but the company said all the features will be added gradually with the passage of time.

The coming version of Photoshop for iPad will be a smart addition to the company's arsenal because all the changes made a PSD will be synced across devices. Using Photoshop CC on iPad, the users will have access to the majority of the image editing tools.

The iPad version will have the same code base as the desktop version of Photoshop so it will be a full-fledged tool in terms of power and performance.

We still have to wait until 2019 to witness all the features and tools of Photoshop CC on the iPad. Being a Photoshop user, you'll be loaded with your toolbox wherever you are, and this is what Adobe wants to do. Previously, there were a number of smaller apps with limited features but now they aim to bring a fully loaded version of Photoshop to the mobile.

"Redesigned for a modern touch experience, Photoshop CC on iPad will deliver the power and precision of its desktop counterpart. Photoshop CC on iPad will let users open and edit native PSD files using Photoshop’s industry-standard image-editing tools and will feature the familiar Photoshop layers panel. With Photoshop CC across devices, coming first to iPad in 2019, you will be able to start your work on an iPad and seamlessly roundtrip all of your edits with Photoshop CC on the desktop via Creative Cloud.", said Adobe in a press release.
