Autoplay Videos Can Now Be Muted For Good On Google Chrome

You must have encountered autoplay videos at least once in your lifetime. It could be quite frustrating especially if you are at a library or at work. Formerly, Google Chrome used to offer muting an entire tab from infesting your earbuds. However, it has now added a new feature through which you can mute an entire site, reported by LifeHacker.

This feature was updated on last month on the latest version of Chrome. If you are a Mac user, you can mute an entire site by control-clicking on a tab and selecting the ‘Mute Site’ option. In case of a laptop, right-click on the tab to mute a specific site.

It is relevant to mention that you will be required Chrome 64 for this feature to appear.
