The study uncovered that 6 in 10 of respondents (59% exactly) have an idea for an app, tool, or some other kind of technical skill they want to develop. The majority of them (80%) believe that they would be able to realize their idea if they only had the necessary coding skills.
This information explains a disconnect between ideation and execution, as many users feel the only thing holding them back from creating the tool or app they want is knowledge. Further findings show that this issue can be solved.
And the number of individuals seeking an important accomplishment to succeed will surely sky-rocket once the biggest roadblock is cleared away through technology with expediency and swiftness. The good news about vibe coding is that the majority of Americans know about the trend.

The findings show how most Americans use AI for quick answers (86%), searching for information (67%), and writing help (53%), with the lowest share of respondents (9%) using it to build apps, tools, or workflows. This further illustrates that the knowledge for AI is there, but its use for more ambitious tasks has not yet been widely adopted.
This shows that, while modest, there is real money-making potential when it comes to using AI to build or create something they felt they couldn’t do or don’t feel confident enough to do without a tool.
