According to a recent study by RichRelevance, social media platforms produces less than 1 percent of total shopping sessions. In which, Facebook dominates when it comes to generating traffic, sales and leads. Facebook produces more than 10x number of orders than any other social media site. The second most prolific social network is Pinterest with 25 percent of social shopping sessions. While Twitter lags far behind, producing the smallest numbers across the board.
